Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 23, 2026
1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
This website, defynedseo.com (the "Site"), is owned and operated by LedHux Holdings LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, doing business under its registered trade name Defyned SEO ("Defyned SEO," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information from visitors to the Site. It does not cover data we process on behalf of our clients under signed service agreements; that data is governed by those agreements.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a contact form, quote request, or similar feature, or communicate with us by email or telephone, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, business name, email address, telephone number, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our web server and the third-party tools described below automatically collect certain information, including your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and the website that referred you.
Cookies and tracking technologies. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. These currently include, or may in the future include: the Meta Pixel (a tracking tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.), which collects information about your visit and may associate it with your Meta (Facebook or Instagram) account for advertising measurement and audience-building purposes; Google Analytics (a website analytics service provided by Google LLC), which collects visit and usage data to help us understand how visitors use the Site; and Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags (provided by Google LLC), which measure the performance of our advertising and may be used to show our advertisements to prior Site visitors on Google's platforms. You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can manage Meta's use of your data through your Meta account's advertising preferences, opt out of Google Analytics using Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage Google's ad personalization at Google's "My Ad Center" settings page.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide requested information about our services;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- Measure the performance of our advertising and understand how visitors use the Site;
- Show our advertisements to audiences on third-party platforms; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use Site visitor information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, such as website hosting providers, email delivery services, and customer relationship management tools, which are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us;
- Advertising and analytics platforms, currently or in the future including Meta Platforms, Inc. and Google LLC, as described in Section 2, whose collection through their own technologies may constitute "sharing" for targeted advertising purposes under some state privacy laws;
- Legal authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property; and
- A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.
5. Data Retention and Security
We retain contact form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Choices
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us at the address in Section 10. You may request that we access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us; we will honor reasonable requests unless we are required to retain the information by law.
7. California Residents
This section provides the disclosures required by the California Online Privacy Protection Act for visitors who are California residents. The categories of personally identifiable information we collect, and the categories of third parties with whom we may share it, are described in Sections 2 and 4. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify visitors by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, as described in Section 9. Do Not Track: some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals; because no uniform standard for responding to these signals has been adopted, the Site does not currently respond to them. Third parties such as Meta Platforms, Inc. and Google LLC may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you visit the Site, as described in Section 2.
LedHux Holdings LLC does not currently meet the applicability thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act (annual gross revenue exceeding approximately $26.6 million, or processing the personal information of 100,000 or more California residents, or deriving half or more of revenue from selling or sharing personal information). We nevertheless honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete personal information from any visitor, regardless of residence, as described in Section 6.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
